a little about me

Born and raised on a small barrier island an hour south of Charleston, SC, I could often be found with my nose in a National Geographic magazine as a child. I attended Clemson University (Go Tigers!) earning a degree in French & International Trade, and was bitten by the travel bug during a semester abroad in Aix-en-Provence, France in 2012. Chasing adventure after graduation, I moved to New York City and embarked on an eight year career as a flight attendant. While flying, I had the opportunity to travel to over 50 countries (and 6 out of 7 continents)!! Europe and Southeast Asia are my favorite destinations, but there aren't many places that aren't on my bucket list (current #1: Egypt).

My favorite part of travel is getting pushed out of your comfort zone, whether it means trying new foods or simply interacting with people who live differently than you. There are so many valuable lessons to be learned, and nothing opens your eyes quite like immersing yourself in a new culture. I am just as likely to be found lying on a beach in the Mediterranean as I am to be trekking through temples in Peru or sampling food from street vendors in Cambodia.

My hope is to apply this philosophy to travel planning. I want my clients to find the R&R or adventure they seek, but also return from their trip having learned something new or developed a new appreciation for the world around us. I look forward to getting to know you as a client and following along on your travels! Bon voyage!
